For those of you who went to Cecil a few weeks ago you even saw how they sell bags of ice for 3$ when your waiting in line. Turbocharged cars definitely have improved performance. : I would assume it would help a little... but before my TT, I had an RX-7 Turbo II with a top mount intercooler, where the air comes through the hood scoop. After my mods, I was able to run a 13.9 1/4 mile, after I put a bag of ice on top of the intercooler, I ran a best of 13.4. I tried this several times throughout a couple of weeks and I consistently got better times with the ice on top of the intercooler. I couldn't envision bringing that many bags of ice all the time, and can't do those to our intercoolers, how about a water sprayer for our intercoolers with an external water tank. I have also heard of people modifying washer reservoirs for this.
